The 1919 Black Sox. The greatest scandal ever to rock professional baseball sadly involved one of the greatest teams ever to play the game.  That team was the 1919 Chicago White Sox, and they threw the World Series . During the scandal, the team would be referred to as the "Black Sox", a name which would stick. This pack of cards are new in the original box.
